She comes from French German Irish and Scottish origins. Her family's Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was established in Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 by her family. John Martin Magenau Jr. was the president and Chief Executive Officer of the brewery from its establishment at Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs began studying acting at the age of eight older and began taking lessons on stage in The Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed at Pittsburgh Public Theater. Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she took home the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest many times. After she graduated from Mt. Jacobs was a student at Lebanon High School from 2000 to the year 2004. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree.
